This community race is a non-profit event, raising money for the technology department at Ross A. Lurgio Middle School, as well as donating a portion of the funds to local charities. Again this year, 10% of the proceeds go to Camp Allen, a Bedford based organization for adults/children with cognitive and physical challenges. This will be our third year in a row supporting this worthy organization. New this year, the race will ask for a donation amount of your choice at the time of registration to support the Wounded Warrior Project.

Lurgio Middle School is proud to not only offer a fun, yet competitive road race, but to also support the school technology department in its efforts to provide new technology to over 750 students. Lurgio is also very pleased to be able to help other worthwhile programs such as Camp Allen and the Wounded Warrior Project through this event.
