Second Annual Greater New England Golf Expo Held this Weekend

Golf enthusiasts are invited to the Radisson where they can try latest equipment, raise funds for local charities.

MANCHESTER, NH – Following a successful 2016 event, organizers are back for The Second Annual Greater New England Golf Expo, being held at The Center of New Hampshire Expo Center at The Radisson in Downton Manchester, according to a press statement. The temperatures may be cold outside, and the courses covered in snow, but winter won’t stop the region’s golfers from warming up their swings to prepare for the 2017 season.

The Greater New England Golf Expo turns cabin fever into golf fever, with an unprecedented gathering of hundreds of the region’s equipment dealers, golf courses and professional instructors to help everyone get ready for spring. From the beginner, who has never gripped a golf club, to the low-handicap golfer, looking to shave a few more strokes, this event is designed with families in mind – and plenty of hands-on activity.

“This expo is like offering a personal caddy to everyone who walks through the door,” explained Chad Zingales, co-organizer and co-host of The Greater New England Golf Expo. “Each person can get personal guidance on their golf game and more information on many of the great courses available to the New England Golfer. We will offer seminars from a few of the region’s best teachers, and we’ll have a wide range of golf equipment to try on our indoor driving range. We’re excited for many new promotions and contests, including two lucky winners the chance to win a FREE set of golf clubs!”

On February 11-12, The Center of New Hampshire Expo Center at the Radisson in Manchester will once again host The Second Annual Greater New England Golf Expo. Whether you have played for years and know your way around a golf course, or you have always wanted to see what the game is about, but had no idea where to begin, this Expo is designed with every level of ability in mind.

In the Expo’s first year, the coordinators were very pleased to welcome more than 2500 attendees through the doors, and show attendance is anticipated to increase in 2017!

Organizers for the golf expo remain the same trio of passionate players: Brian Karoul, Justin Maguire, both fulltime Manchester Police Officers, are mixing their love of the game with a chance to raise funds for two causes close to their hearts: Building On Hope and MPAL, the Manchester Police Athletic League. MPAL has been serving the needs of underprivileged children in the city for decades.

“Our newly renovated MPAL center offers us a new way to connect with young people, and we want to introduce this game to them as a way to connect personally and improve trust between today’s young kids and the police,” explains Officer Karoul. “Sports is a universal language, and we are excited about this event and how it can impact the lives of young people.”

It’s also why MPAL was selected as a charity recipient for the indoor golf range contest being offered at the Expo. In addition, any military active duty or veteran will receive free admission into the expo with their military identification.
