Vehicle Loses Control And Goes On A 'Wild Ride' In Milford
A driver hit a building, careened off several items while traveling over 500 feet apparently out of control. No one was seriously injured.
MILFORD, NH — Milford fire, ambulance, and police responded to a report of a vehicle that struck V.I.P. Tires on Jones Road on Friday.
When crews arrived, they found a vehicle located over 500 feet from where it first struck the V.I.P. building. The sole female occupant was experiencing some medical needs, possibly from the crash, according to scanner chatter.
The woman was removed from the vehicle by Milford ambulance personnel and taken to a local hospital with what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries. Milford police are investigating the accident and have not determined if it was a mechanical failure, medical, or something else.

Two witnesses at the scene said that it was a “wild ride” as they watched her travel a long distance bouncing off curbs, through grass, plants, and coming to rest near the People’s United Bank. One of the witnesses believes she had just exited the car wash when the incident began.
The front wheel was broken off as well as the spring, and grill of the vehicle and it was towed from the scene.
