The Democrats have 7 great individuals looking to represent us - all have made considerable and measurable commitments to our community.

In less than one week, on Tuesday, November 3rd, we will be voting for a President.
Bedford will also be casting votes for down ballot candidates, including for 7 folks to represent us in Concord as State representatives. Itβs not really a paying job, with compensation just $200.00 per 2-year term. To run for these positions, you have to really care about our town and its people. I want to thank these incredible people who have stood up, put themselves out there campaigning, many while working full time, and many raising young families.

The Democrats have 7 great individuals looking to represent us - all have lived in Bedford for many years and have made considerable and measurable commitments to our community. These seven candidates include current and former teachers from right here in town, a long-time guidance counselor, committed and engaged town and school district volunteers, clean water and environmental champions, a small business owner, and a former member of Bedfordβs town council. All folks with strong connections to Bedford and its residents.
These 7 are well equipped to serve the best interests of Bedford. Their intelligence, commitment, enthusiasm, positivity, and empathy are what is needed to represent us in Concord.

Throughout this campaign period, they have all taken the high road. You do not hear or read anything from them disparaging the Republicans who are running for the same positions. That speaks volumes to me.
It breaks my heart to have to admit that this town we all love, for its beauty, top notch school system, people, small businesses, location, has some warts. The partisanship is unsettling, unnecessary, and rather frightening.
Please, if you havenβt already, vote for the seven Democrats running for NH Representative. For District 4, vote for Lisa Nash. For District 7, vote for Mullen, Dong, Paradis, Potvin, Rombeau, and Schmitt.
Choose the high road. I know they have.
