Bedford Postpones Halloween 2017

Breaking: Power outages and electrical wire dangers cause town and police to postpone trick-or-treating.

BEDFORD, NH — Trick-or-treating hours in Bedford have been postponed to 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, due to the amount of downed trees and power lines, according to police. This will allow utility crews and the DPW time to clean up and make the roads safe for pedestrian traffic, according to a Nixle alert.
