Exeter Girls Hockey Beat Lebanon 3-2

On the strength of Mackenzie McGrath's 22-save performance in net, the EHS girls shock perennial powerhouse Lebanon 3-2.

Exeter, NH - Kelly Moran scored on a power play late in the third to solidify Exeter’s win in their home opener last night at The Rinks of Exeter.

Down 1-0 early, Exeter fought back as freshman Bridget Babcock scored on a sweet dish by Emily Kopecky then went five-hole for for her second tally putting Exeter up 2-1. Although the Raiders of Lebanon were able to tie the game late in the second, Exeter goalie Mackenzie McGrath closed the door in the third making several point-blank saves. Moran scored the game-winner with just under three minutes to go and sent the disappointed Raiders packing.

The BlueHawks will go for win #2 today as they host Kingswood High at 4pm.
