EXETER__Exeter Hospital’s Family Center has received the 2021 IBCLC Care Award. The award recognizes hospitals/birthing facilities that hire currently certified International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) and have a dedicated lactation support program that promotes and supports breastfeeding. Exeter Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient lactation services free of charge, and the lactation program works closely with the Family Center’s home visiting program to support new mothers.
