Exeter Man Indicted On 15 Aggravated Sexual Assault Counts
Ian Boudreau, 35, of Exeter, has been indicted on 15 aggravated felonious sexual assault counts against three children.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The Rockingham County Superior Court grand jury has indicted an Exeter man on 15 aggravated felonious sexual assault counts against three children. Ian R. Boudreau, 35, of Exeter, is charged with committing various sexual acts against against children who were between the ages of 5 and 13 at the time. The assaults happened between 2008 and 2019 in Exeter, according to the indictments issued last month.
Some of the indictments indicate that Boudreau was a caregiver for one of the victims, and that he used that authority to coerce her into sexual acts while showing a pattern of sexual assault against her. Another young victim was a member of his household, and another was biologically related to him, the indictments state.
One of the charges states he used physical force and handcuffs to force a victim into sex. Another charge states he threatened to take the phone away from a victim if she did not comply with a sex act.

All 15 aggravated felonious sexual assault charges against Boudreau are special felonies. Eleven of them carry a maximum possible sentence of 10 to 30 years in prison if he is convicted, and four of them carry a maximum possible sentence of 10 to 20 years in prison if convicted.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt; rather, it means a jury has found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
