Exeter Museum Free This Weekend For Museum Day
Exeter's American Independence Museum will have free entry for Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day.

EXETER, NH — The American Independence Museum will offer free entry this weekend for Smithsonian Magazine's 2018 "Museum Day." The event is Saturday, September 22. Fourteen New Hampshire museums are among about 1,500 museums across the country that are participating.
Portsmouth's Strawbery Banke Museum, Londonderry's Aviation Museum of New Hampshire and Concord's McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center are also participating in Museum Day.
Individuals can download tickets for Museum Day on Smithsonian Magazine's website. Each ticket allows free admission for two people. One ticket is available per email address.

The theme for this year's event is "Women Making History."
"Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine," the magazine wrote.
