Fire Destroys Epping Home

Firefighters from multiple communities responded to Prescott Road Saturday to a fully engulfed structure fire.

EPPING, NH — Saturday Epping fire and several surrounding towns responded to Prescott Road for a reported structure fire. The first units to arrive reported an approximately 20 foot by 30 foot structure fully engulfed in fire. The occupants of the house confirmed to the fire department that everyone escaped safely.

Firefighters from several towns responded with mutual aid and used tankers to supply water to the fire which was about 200 feet from the roadway.

A backhoe was brought in to assist the fire crews in moving debris so that the fire could be fully extinguished.
