"The Future of Exeter's Black History"

A discussion of the downtown pocket-park idea

Hear about plans to create a Black Heritage pocket-park in downtown Exeter. Five panelists from a committee of Exeter citizens will discuss a proposal. Attendee Q&A to follow, via Zoom chat. • History: This park commemorates the community of Black citizens that lived in Exeter during the post-Revolutionary War era.

• Future: This park welcomes current and future residents to consider what racial unity means to them.

• Form: An intimate, landscaped area with benches, information, & art.
