Great Bay Charter School Students Build New Picnic Tables

Project Adds More Outdoor Learning Options

EXETER__Students at Great Bay Charter School in Exeter were thrilled to receive three new picnic tables for use behind the school.

The materials for the tables were donated by the Pool family and JPW Construction, of Exeter. Wood was pre-cut before it was delivered to the school and assembled by middle school students during their advisory period. The tables will be used for outdoor classes and lunches.

Great Bay Charter School is a project-based school in Exeter that serves students in grades 6-12. As a public charter school, GBCS is a tuition-free alternative to larger, traditional public schools, and is open to students from throughout New Hampshire. GBCS is offering in-person and remote options for students during the 2020-2021 school year. For more information, visit www.gbecs.org
