Jumpers Jump in Exeter on March 19

Extreme Air of NH will host the USA Jump Rope Region 10 Tournament later this month at Exeter High School.

EXETER, NH - Extreme Air, New Hampshire’s nationally ranked competitive jump rope team, will host the USA Jump Rope Region 10 Tournament on March 19.

The tournament will be held at Exeter High School in Exeter.

Members of Extreme Air will face teams from Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New York as they vie for the opportunity to compete at the USA Jump Rope Nationals. This year, the National Championships will be held in Orlando, FL, from June 27 to July 1.

More than 150 jumpers will compete in 30 second, 1 minute, and three minute speed, speed relay, double Dutch and double Dutch pairs speed, and double and triple under power events, according to a press statement. For freestyle, jumpers will compete in individual, pairs, double Dutch, and double Dutch pairs freestyle. Teams may compete in team show at the end of the day.

This will be the first time in years that a Regional Tournament has been held in the Granite State. It’s an exciting opportunity for area residents to experience live competitive jump rope.

The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and runs all day. It is open to the general public and admission is free.
