Major Traffic Issue Route 101 Exit 7 To Exit 9; Miles Of Traffic
A sold out event at New England Speedway is backing up traffic for miles — and multiple additional police units being called in to assist.

EPPING, NH — An event at New England Dragway is causing miles of traffic Sunday to back up in every direction, according to reports online.
An event scheduled to happen at New England Dragway called "Import Face-Off" is sold out and a post on Facebook is urging race fans without tickets not to come to the event. Sunday morning, thousands of cars brought traffic to a standstill on Route 101 and surrounding roads to the dragway.
NH State Police on radio traffic said Epping, Exeter, and Brentwood were bringing in off-duty personnel to assist in what state police described as becoming a dangerous situation.

State police closed Exit 8 to prevent further back up on local roads.

Brentwood fire was called to place fire apparatus to block the ramps because drivers were going on cruisers. At one point NHSP said "we don't want officers getting killed or injured"
The dragway on a Facebook post indicated to people not to show up without tickets.
