Org Seeks Nominations for Citizen and Teacher of the Year

The Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce seeks to award residents for three awards. The deadline for submissions is June 17.

EXETER, NH - Nominations are now being accepted for the 2016 Citizen of the Year award, the 2016 Edward Pease Excellence in Education award and the 2016 Lori Breard Achievement in Leadership award, according to a press statement.

These three prestigious community awards will be presented at the Chamber’s annual Community Awards Dinner on Aug. 25, 2016, at the Portsmouth Harbor Events & Conference Center.

Both Chamber members and non-members are welcomed to be nominated for these three awards. The nominee must be living or working in one of the following Exeter Area 10 towns: Brentwood, East Kingston, Epping Exeter, Kensington, Kingston, Newfields, Newmarket, Raymond and Stratham.

These awards are presented to an individuals who has made major contributions to the progress and betterment of the Exeter Area community, is living and/or working in the Exeter Area community and in the judgment of the selection committee, typifies the true spirit of service and self-sacrifice in representing the finest ideals of the Exeter Area.

Entry forms and a complete list of criteria for each award can be found at ExeterArea.org/Events. The deadline for all three awards: Friday, June 17, 2016.
