Patch Can Help Promote Your Business on Small Business Saturday
Small Business Saturday is Nov. 26 this year. Let us help you tell Exeter NH Patch readers how they can "Shop Small" in 2016.

EXETER, NH — Small Business Saturday is designed to celebrate and call attention to the wonderful local businesses that make up the fabric of our communities. This year, consumers are asked to “Shop Small” on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016.
Created by American Express, the first Small Business Saturday took place in 2010, and it encouraged people across the country to support small, local businesses. By the following year, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution to support the day. The idea caught on and grew immensely in the following years, and by 2015, it is estimated that 95 million headed out to shop on Small Business Saturday.
