Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Exeter Bakery

Police say the man took an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a black Cadillac.

Exeter police are investigating an armed robbery reported at St. Anthony's Bakery on Water Street on July 21.

A man passed a note that he had a weapon, although none was shown, and he left the business with an undisclosed amount of money at about 11:08 a.m., police said.

No injuries were reported.

The police description of the robber:

  • a tanned white man
  • 6' to 6'2" tall
  • silver hair
  • weighing 240 pounds
  • about 50 years old
  • wearing a blue golf shirt and cut-off blue jean shorts
  • driving a shiny, black Cadillac with unknown plates
