Seabrook Man Indicted On Attempted Murder, Other Charges: Court

NJ man accused of stealing money from the elderly; Exeter man faces child sex abuse image charges; felon accused of firing a gun in Hampton.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Rockingham County Superior Court.

Robert L. April III, 52, of Janvrin Drive in Seabrook on two counts of attempted second-degree murder, second-degree assault-domestic violence, criminal restraint, domestic violence-second-degree assault-strangulation, and tampering with witnesses and informants charges, all felonies, and a domestic violence-stalking charge. He was accused of strangling a woman with a rope, and assaulting her with a metal bat, and locking her in a room on Feb. 26, and trying to get someone to testify that the woman did not fear him on March 8.

Thomas Ash, 51, of Pearl Street in Derry on theft by unauthorized taking and criminal mischief charges, both felonies. He was accused of stealing a catalytic converter and a shaft-exhaust system from vehicles at Duncan's European Automotive in Londonderry on Oct. 25, 2020.

Ian R. Boudreau, 37, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, on five felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse images between Jan. 1, 2013, and April 15, 2019, in Exeter.

Ashley Ann Buono, 27, of Carolina Avenue in Ashburnham, Massachusetts, on possession of clonazepam and possession of methamphetamine charges on July 10, 2020, in Salem.

Leonard M. Buzzell, 49, of Patten Hill Road in Candia on a felony second-degree assault-domestic violence charge. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner on March 20 in Candia.

Christopher Carrero, 28, of Mildred Street in Bay Shore, New York, on a felony criminal mischief charge. He was accused of keying a 2014 Dodge 1500 on Dec. 27, 2020, in Exeter.

Ryan P. Cooper, 30, of Watson Hill Road in Raymond on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of removing a wallet, credit cards, and other items from a vehicle in Epping on Aug. 14, 2020.

Lindsay Darling, 30, of Harbourview Avenue in South Portland, Maine, on a felony possession of meth charge on Jan. 12 in Greenland.

James A. Dufault, 49, of Smiley Avenue in Haverhill, MA, on a felony aggravated driving while intoxicated charge. He was accused of being under the influence while driving on Park Avenue in Plaistow and causing a crash on Sept. 12, 2020.

Roan W. Elgart, 45, of Colonial Road in Windham on a felony possession of fentanyl charge on March 8, 2020 in Greenland.

Elvis Guzman, 44, of Sassafras Street in Paterson, New Jersey, on two conspiracy to commit theft by deception, theft by deception, and receiving stolen property charges, all felonies. He was accused of stealing $16,200 from an elderly Portsmouth woman in October 2020, $32,000 from two elderly residents of Newfields in October 2020, and money from an elderly resident in Londonderry in November 2020.

Timothy Heald, 44, of Cimarron Drive in Seabrook on a felony armed career criminal charge. He was accused of being in possession of a gun in Hampton between Jan. 5 and Jan. 6 after being convicted on three or more felonies including second-degree assault in May 1996, attempted burglary in May 1996, and first-degree assault in October 2001.
