The Seacoast Artist Association in Exeter, NH congratulates their 2021 art scholarship winners. For the last 33 years, local public high school seniors who are continuting their art studies are chosen by their schools to apply. "This year's SAA Scholarship winners represent both an exciting range of arts exploration and the deeply thoughtful insights of our next generation of artists," said SAA scholarship committee chair Maryclare Heffernan. "From photography that tells a story, to green architecture to art therapy our talented students write about their desire to create art, breaking boundaries and bringing a socially conscious mindset to the work they will do. Knowing these 6 talented artists will influence and contribute to our arts communities offers us hope for the future. We couldn't be prouder of the student 2021 SAA Scholarship awardees and the educators who nurtured their passions!"

We salute the following six students: Abbey Skipper of Dover High who will study at the Institute of Art & Design at New England College; Andrew Hodson of Exeter High who will attend Wentworth Institute of Technology; Gretchen Green of Porstmouth High who will attend Endicott College; Lauren Ouellett of Spaulding High who will attend the University of New England; Hannah Jeong of Oyster River High who will attend Rhode Island School of Design; and Genevive Harnois of Timberlane Regional High who will attend Salve Regnina University.
