Homicide Of Rochester Teen Under Investigation; Cops Seek Tips
Michael Mowry, 19, was shot in the neck Sunday — with witnesses stating multiple men in masks were seen fleeing from the apartment building.
ROCHESTER, NH — New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Rochester Police Chief Paul Toussaint provided details concerning a homicide in Rochester, New Hampshire in the early morning hours Sunday.
Officials said around 3:15 a.m., police received a 911 phone call directing them to an apartment on Monroe Drive for a shooting. Inside, officers discovered Michael Mowry, 19, deceased inside his bedroom.
The initial dispatch by Rochester police was for a male who was shot in the neck — with multiple males fleeing the scene, wearing masks.

According to Benjamin A. Agati, a senior assistant attorney general, there were reports circulating that police engaged in a foot pursuit of the suspects but he indicated there was no pursuit.
New Hampshire State Police provided a helicopter to search specific areas but no suspects were found.

Agati said Rochester police strongly urge anyone who may have seen or heard anything to contact investigators. He indicated, many times, that people with information who do not think it is anything helpful should call anyway — no matter what the information was.
When asked if other agencies were involved, Agati said the "The Rochester Police Department is actively investigating the incident, and is the lead investigating agency."
