Check out our TimberNook summer camps at Apple Annie for summer 2015!

Storybook from July 13-17 (for ages 4-6, 1/2 day program) One of our most popular camps, where young children “live and breath” stories out in the wild. We’ll be doing everything from building forts that reach new heights after reading the story, Too Tall Houses, to entering a forest full of candy around every corner in the classic, Willy Wonka tale. We’ll also be stomping through the forest for, Where the Wild Things Are and re-enacting the story, The Three Little Bears. With the turn of every day, comes a new story for the children to experience, new adventures out in the woods, and lots of FUN!

Enchanted from August 10-14 (for ages 5-9, 1/2 day program) Children will enter the world of Alice in Wonderland this week – full of mysteries and adventures with every passing day. The children will experience and prepare an authentic and silly Mad Hatter Tea Party out in the Woods this week. They’ll also get to design “rabbit holes” for their peers to navigate, entryways into the unknown, and enjoy hours of free play and challenging quests with friends out in the woods -- leaving them thinking in new ways.

Going Wild - Challenge Camp from August 17-21 (for ages 7-12, full day program) This camp is all about design and creativity in the wild. The children will be doing everything from creating elaborate mazes and creative obstacles for both on foot and on bike adventures to designing a pulley system that stretches from one end of the woods to the other – later bringing this into an extravagant group game experience. They’ll also be cooking over an open fire, enjoying group games, and playing for hours on end in the wild with friends. This camp will stretch the minds of your young ones and leave them asking for more.
