Winter Weather on the Way: 8-13 Inches of Snow Forecast for Exeter

EXETER, NH — Exeter will get hit with its first major snowstorm of the winter Tuesday.

Between 8 and 13 inches of snow are expected in the area, starting in the pre-dawn hours Tuesday morning. Sleet and freezing rain are expected to mix with the snow throughout the day Tuesday, and wind gusts are forecast to reach 20 mph.

Tuesday morning’s commute will be be dangerous and there could be power outages, according to the National Weather Service. State highway workers treated the Everett Turnpike Monday ahead of the storm. If power goes out, you can follow updates on the Eversource outage map.
