Zombie Dancers Sought in Exeter

Thrive for Women Hosts Thriller Dance Oct. 27, Benefits St. Vincent de Paul and Womenade, Dance Rehearsals Ongoing

EXETER__Ever wanted to learn Michael Jackson’s Thriller dance? You’re in luck as there is still time to sign up for Exeter’s annual performance of Thriller in the parking lot outside Thrive for Women.

Thrive hosts the dance which serves as a fundraiser for St. Vincent de Paul’s food pantry and Womenade of Greater Squamscott.
Rehearsals are underway, but space is still available for those that are interested in joining the zombie dance crew led by instructor Caroline Ruhm. Anyone age 9 and older is invited to take part. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. at Thrive. You don’t need to be a member to dance but there is a suggested $25 donation which goes to Womenade of Greater Squamscott. The dance steps are written out as well and you can practice at home if you can’t make all the rehearsals.
The live performance will take place on Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot in front of Thrive on Portsmouth Avenue. Audience members are asked to make a donation toward Womenade or bring canned food for St. Vincent de Paul.
Please call Thrive at 772-3881 if you would like to participate.
