New Hampshire State Police said Jacob Raymond, 21, Sarah Frost, 18, and Stephen Hansen, 22, died in a crash in Hampton Falls.

HAMPTON FALLS, NH — Three people were killed and a fourth was seriously injured in a car crash in Hampton Falls Saturday, according to police. The deceased were identified as Jacob Raymond, 21, of Exeter; Sarah Frost, 18, of Exeter; and Stephen Hansen, 22, of Seabrook. A fourth occupant — Daniel Petruzzelli, 19, of Manchester — was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Raymond was driving a Nissan Altima west on Route 88 near Applecrest Farm at about 6:30 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road and crashed into trees, according to New Hampshire State Police. The occupants were unable to call for help and the crash went undiscovered until Sunday at about 11 a.m. when a pedestrian came across the grisly scene.
"Excessive speed appears to be a contributing factor however all aspects of this crash remain under investigation," New Hampshire State Police Lieutenant John Hennessey said in a statement. "Investigators at this time believe the crash occurred ... possibly as early as 6:30 p.m. but remained unreported as the vehicle was hidden from view of passing traffic due to the dense vegetation surrounding it. A passerby walking along the roadway first reported this crash at approximately 11:00 a.m."
