HAMPTON, NH — An Exeter woman was treated for minor injuries after her Subaru twice crossed the median on Route 101 in Hampton before crashing through a guardrail and coming to a stop approximately 100 feet off the roadway. The ramp for Exit 13 was closed for about an hour Saturday night as the car was lifted up the embankment and removed.

New Hampshire State Police say 48-year-old Jessica Scaccia suffered an unknown medical condition that caused her to lose control of her vehicle. Her car traveled across the median into the eastbound lane, then changed direction again, crossed back into the westbound lane and hit the guardrail. The impact sent her car airborne down the embankment to the wood line.

Police say Scaccia was transported to Exeter Hospital for evaluation.
