Crimeline Pays Out $1,700 In Sexual Assault Case

A tipline credited with helping catch a Hampton criminal recently paid out $1,700 to witnesses who came forward with information.

HAMPTON, N.H - A tipline credited with helping catch a Hampton criminal recently paid out $1,700 to witnesses who came forward with information. According to Seacoast Online, Crimeline for the Hamptons, Inc., recently paid $1,700 in reward money for information that led to the arrest and conviction of Angelo Hernandez of Hampton.

Hampton police arrested Hernandez in August 2017 on two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault. The arrest came after two witnesses provided information to the authorities related to Hernandez’s criminal activity. A third witness provided information to Crimeline that led to the capture of Hernandez after arrest warrants were issued by Hampton police.

Hernandez was convicted in March on all charges and sentenced to the New Hampshire State Prison for 9 to 20 years.

Crimeline for the Hamptons paid a total of $1,700 in cash rewards to the tipsters in the Hernandez case. All tipsters remained anonymous and received their rewards through a liaison for Crimeline.
