Experience Hampton Gets $1,250 Donation For Christmas Parade

HAMPTON, NH — Newburyport Bank, of Massachusetts, has donated $1,250 Experience Hampton, a nonprofit that works to enhance Hampton through events and projects. The donation will go toward Experience Hampton's upcoming golf tournament to benefit the Hampton Christmas Parade.

The golf tournament is scheduled for Monday, Aug 12. According to a statement by Newburyport Bank, Experience Hampton consists of business owners and residents, who started the organization in 2010 to bring back the annual Christmas Parade. Since then, it has funded nine parades, the Stanley Cup's visit to Hampton and many other events

"Whether it's a golf tournament or a holiday parade, Experience Hampton knows how to create an event that's sure to please those in attendance," said Lloyd L. Hamm Jr., president and CEO of Newburyport Bank. "And our contribution to the summer golf tournament will be even more meaningful this upcoming Christmas holiday season when it adds a little more holiday cheer to the popular annual parade"
