Fatal Fire Victim Identified As 69-Year-Old Seabrook Woman
Smoke inhalation killed Eileen Doherty, seriously injured another on March 10. The NH Fire Marshal continues to investigate the incident.
SEABROOK, NH — The New Hampshire Fire Marshal's Office released the name of the victim from the March 10th fatal fire on Spruce Court.
The NH Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as Eileen Doherty, 69, of Seabrook. The cause of her death had been determined to be smoke inhalation and the manner of her death was accidental.
The investigation into the origin and cause of the fire is active and ongoing by members of the NH State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Seabrook Fire and Police Departments.

A second person was rescued by Seabrook Officer Hersey. They were flown to a Boston hospital with serious injuries. The condition of the person remains unknown.
Parisi said he wanted to remind everyone to maintain working smoke alarms in their homes, keep exits clear of debris, have their heating systems inspected and maintained on an annual basis, and keep at least a three to 5-foot clearance around any heating appliance from other combustible materials.
