Fatal NH Hampton Falls Crash: 4th Victim Dies

New Hampshire State Police said Sarah Frost, 18, Daniel Petruzzelli, 19, Jacob Raymond, 21, and Stephen Hansen, 22, died in Hampton Falls.

HAMPTON FALLS, NH — A fourth person has died in connection with a Hampton Falls crash last week, police announced Sunday. Daniel Petruzzelli, 19, of Manchester, died Saturday at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Petruzzelli was one of four young adults and teenagers involved in a crash on Saturday, July 28, on Route 88 near Applecrest Farm.

Police said the driver, Jacob Raymond, 21, of Exeter, veered off the road and crashed at about 6:30 p.m. The crash went unreported until a pedestrian came across it at about 11 a.m. the next day; the scene was in a wooded area hidden from street view.

Two more passengers — Sarah Frost, 18, of Exeter, and Stephen Hansen, 22, of Seabrook — were also killed.

"Excessive speed appears to be a contributing factor however all aspects of this crash remain under investigation," New Hampshire State Police Lieutenant John Hennessey said in a statement.
