Master Sand Sculpting Winners Celebrated
Guy-Olivier Deveau won first place in the 14th annual Master Sand Sculpting Competition at Hampton Beach.

Deveau, of Quebec, Canada, won with his "Inseminate" sand sculpture.Â
Other award winners:
- Second place went to Karen Fralich of Ontario, Canada, for "Yin and Yang."
- Carl D. Jara of Ohio won third with "Putting Down Roots."
- David Andrews of Wisconsin won fourth with "Serene Song."
- Damon Langlois of British Columbia won fifth with "Out of Sand."
- Michel Lepire of Quebec won the People's Choice award with "Together We Are One."
And check the sculptures out in person: The sculptures will be illuminated for night viewing through July 6, according to the competition schedule.
