Hampton Man Ejected From Car During Crash

A Hampton man is facing drunk driving charges after being ejected from his car during a crash over the weekend.

HAMPTON, N.H. - A Hampton man is facing drunked driving charges after being ejected from his car during a crash over the weekend. According to WHDH, Joseph Walsh, 21, was thrown from the car and taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Police responding Sunday around 12:30 a.m. to High Street for a report of a crash found a white Hyundai Elantra that had slammed into a telephone pole and snapped it in half.

He is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, according to police.

Walsh is charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, reckless conduct and recklessly damaging property.

Walsh is scheduled to be arraigned in Rockingham Superior Court on May 18.
