Hampton Parking Ban Issued Ahead Of Monster Snowstorm
Hampton officials announced a parking ban this weekend, as a storm is expected to drop 17 inches of snow.

HAMPTON, NH — Hampton officials issued a parking ban this weekend ahead of a monster snowstorm. The ban starts Saturday at 7 p.m. and continues through Monday at 7 p.m. No on-street parking is allowed during that time and violators will be towed.
"Owners of vehicles parked in Municipal Lots should check the lot often to assure their vehicle is not interfering with snow removal," Hampton officials said in a statement.
The storm is expected to drop 17 inches of snow on Hampton.

Hampton officials also closed the transfer station Monday due to the snow. There will be no trash pickup Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The transfer station will reopen and trash pickup will resume Tuesday.
