Hampton Police Searching for Bank Robbery Suspect

New Hampshire Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a Hampton bank last week.

HAMPTON, NH - Hampton Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing Provident Bank in Hampton last week. According to NECN, police were called to the bank on Lafayette Road on Tuesday, Apr. 16 after receiving an alert from the panic alarm.

When officers arrived, they learned the suspect had entered the bank and demanded money. No weapon was shown and the suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators believe the suspect is driving a red vehicle with a Massachusetts license plate.

The man, who was captured on surveillance, is believed to be between 40 and 50 years old and approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall.
