Hampton School District Seeking Substitute Teacher Applicants
There are currently several vacancies for daily positions for substitute teachers at all of the district's schools.

Superintendent Dr. Lois Costa reports that Hampton School District is actively seeking applicants to temporarily fill multiple vacancies throughout the district.

There are currently several vacancies for daily positions for substitute teachers at all of the district's schools including the Centre School, Adeline C. Marston School and Hampton Academy. The Centre School serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade two, the Marston School serves students in grades three thought five and Hampton Academy serves students in grades six through eight.
The district is also seeking a full time registered nurse for a short term position, to fill in for an employee on maternity leave.

The District has waived its requirement that all substitute teachers hold a bachelor's degree, although it is still preferred.
Hampton School District has additionally raised its rate from $13 per hour to $15 per hour. Substitute teachers are paid by the day.
