Hampton Students Raise $1.2K for Homeless Health
Hampton's Marston School students raised $1,200 for Families First Health & Support Center's mobile healthcare for the homeless program.

From Families First: Third, fourth, and fifth grade students at Hampton’s Marston School raised more than $1,200 through their penny drive for Families First Health & Support Center. Students collected “pennies” and change from friends and family during the month of February. These funds will be used to support Families First’s mobile health program.
The mobile health program brings medical, dental, counseling and social work services to places like shelters, soup kitchens and public housing in order to serve those who are low income and homeless. Last year, Families First served more than 1,300 people who were homeless.
The mobile health teams visit sites in Portsmouth, Dover, Exeter, Rochester, and Hampton on a weekly basis. In Hampton, they visit Hampton Beach during the winter months and St. Vincent de Paul every Friday morning throughout the year.
