Local Couple Charged for Drunkenly Firing Gun Toward House

An officer found the man and an area woman "just shooting indiscriminately" up to 20 times "into the tress in the direction of the dwelling."

Police reportedly charged a local couple with reckless conduct and unauthorized use of a firearm after they allegedly drank then fired a gun up to 20 times into the woods in the direction of a house.

David Wright, 45, of Seabrook, and Ellen Ahern, 41, of Dover, were charged early Tuesday afternoon after a Kensington police detective heard gunshots, according to the Union Leader.

"He found them just shooting indiscriminately into the tress in the direction of the [New Boston Road] dwelling," Sgt. Scott Sanders told the Union Leader. "They were still shooting when he walked up and he was quite concerned for his safety."
