Marshals Search For Seacoast Fugitive Wanted On Drug, Gun Charges
Jonah Couturier is wanted on drug manufacturing, reckless conduct-deadly weapon charges in Seabrook; he has previously lived in Merrimack.

CONCORD, NH — The District of New Hampshire-New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is asking the public again for help finding an accused drug manufacturer who is wanted on several charges and has not been seen since 2017.
Jonah Sebastian Couturier is 37, about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 185 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Couturier has a number of tattoos on his calf, neck, right shoulder, and wrist, according to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal.
"Couturier is wanted on numerous narcotics related offenses, as well as a reckless conduct with firearms charge," he said. " Couturier was last known to reside in Seabrook, NH, but as a result of a fire in the residence caused by his manufacturing of narcotics, his whereabouts are currently unknown. Couturier has prior addresses in Merrimack, NH, where he has other family, friends and associates."

According to media reports from more than three years ago, fire and rescue teams were called to Couturier's home on Lafayette Road in Seabrook on May 22, 2017. He was arrested on a marijuana possession charge at that time and made bail. After applying for a search warrant, police reported seizing $280,000 worth of drugs as well as handguns, rifles, and shotguns — and then, he disappeared.
At the time, it was the biggest drug bust in Seabrook's history.

Couturier was a New Hampshire Fugitive of the Week in June 2017.
Couturier was indicted in Rockingham County on five controlled drug: acts prohibited charges in July 2017 and was to be arraigned in August 2017 but was accused of failing to appear. In September 2018, a motion was made to dispose of property which was granted. In May 2019, a motion was made to dispose of property and use photographs as evidence in trial in lieu of physical exhibits and that, too, was granted.
If you know where Couturier is or know someone who looks like him, contact the task force at 603-225-1632 or call local police.
