New Hampshire State Police: 200+ Violations Reported On I-95
Troopers cite 6 Massachusetts drivers for speeding at 100 mph or more Labor Day weekend while drivers in Maine, Rhode Island also charged.

HAMPTON, NH — New Hampshire State Police conducted a Labor Day weekend speed enforcement effort that led to several arrests, numerous citations, and more than 200 violations during a 48-hour period.
The enforcement effort was held on Sunday and Monday along Interstate 95 in Greenland and Hampton with Troop A troopers using aircraft to monitor traffic with state police on the ground.
According to Lt. John Hennessey and Capt. Christopher Vetter of Troop A, 73 violations were recorded Sunday and 130 Monday. Dozens of drivers were traveling at more than 90 mph with eight being tracked at more than 100 mph hours. Two drivers were also reportedly racing, according to troopers.

On Sunday, Aidan Tomaszewski, 18, of Sterling, Massachusetts, accused of driving 104 mph; Meisang Hong, 23, of Brighton, MA, accused of driving 100 mph; and Hunter Graham, 19, of Amesbury, MA, accused of driving 100 mph; were cited. On Monday, Jonathan Ross, 19, of Lowell, MA, accused of driving 112 mph; Maya McCabe, 20, of Orono, Maine, accused of driving 106 mph; Katerin Henriquez Lopez, 24, of Chelsea, MA, accused of driving 100 mph; a juvenile, accused of driving 121 mph; and Christopher Mahoney, 41, of Peabody, MA, accused of driving 105 mph; were also all cited.
Mahoney was accused along with Joseph Santagata, 36, of Warwick, Rhode Island, (97 mph) of road racing, according to state police.

The juvenile was also cited for transported alcohol by a minor.
Also on Sunday, one driver, Lisa Reagan, 33, of Johnston, RI, was charged with operating after suspension. Zachary Blier, 27, of North Berwick, ME, was arrested Monday on driving while intoxicated and operating after suspension charges while Megan Monterrosa, 25, of Salem, MA, was charged with operating after suspension.
All of the individuals charged are expected in Hampton or Portsmouth district courts in the near future.
"The NH State Police Special Enforcement Unit regularly interdicts elevated speed violations and other aggressive driving behaviors," the troopers said in a statement. "Its members patrol the entire state, often utilizing the State Police aircraft during commuter travel periods and peak holiday travel periods, with the goal of keeping New Hampshire’s roadways safe for all residents and visitors."
