A popular local family business has officially completed the much-awaited second half of its educational playplace.
ARTastic Arts and Crafts, an all-ages walk-in arts and activities studio in Hampton Falls, has opened its Imagination Station. The businesses are the interactive brainchildren of Robin and Chris Nicholas, who also own ChildsPlace, a school for early childhood education that been operating since 1990.
The Imagination Station, a new "creative playspace" located in the same 105 Lafayette Road lot as ChildsPlace and ARTastic, mimics a small town and allows children to explore and create within small buildings dubbed the Playhouse, Fire Station, Grocery Store, Animal Hospital, Neighborhood Diner, Theater in the Park, Science Station, and Puppet Theater, according to Robin Nicholas.

The Imagination Station is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission costs $8 per child — but is free for adults and infants — and grants children unlimited time in the stations, according to Robin Nicholas.
