Night Closure of I-95 in Hampton Starts Tonight

Periodic closures of the southbound open-road tolling lanes at the Hampton toll plaza on Interstate 95 ​are set to start tonight.

HAMPTON, N.H. - Periodic closures of the southbound open-road tolling lanes at the Hampton toll plaza on Interstate 95 are set to start tonight, according to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.

The toll lanes will be closed to allow crews to finish pavement rehabilitation work.

According to the NHDOT, the nighttime closures will start on May 6 and run through May 18, starting at 7 p.m. and ending at 5 a.m. each night.

NHDOT said the closure is needed to allow for safe passage through the area during paving operations.

All motorists will be guided via signs and traffic cones to the non-ORT portion of the toll plaza where they will proceed through either dedicated E-ZPass lanes or cash lanes.
