North Hampton Dog Missing; $500 Reward Offered

"Sophie" went missing this week from its North Hampton home on Post Road.

NORTH HAMPTON, NH — The owners of a lost North Hampton dog are asking the public's help finding the animal as a massive snowstorm approaches. "Sophie" went missing Tuesday from its Post Road home and was last seen near New Road. She is a 10-year-old coonhound mix.

The dog has a collar with tags. It suffers from Addison's disease and is in need of medication.

"We are asking anyone who lives in the area to PLEASE check around your property," the owners wrote. "Check anywhere she might be able to hide ... under decks or porches, in or around sheds and barns, under stored boats, campers or vehicles, etc."
