Residents Give State Feedback on State Park Rule Changes
Jonas Brothers cancel show at Hampton Beach Club Casino after band cancels current tour.

Town residents gave New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation officials their feedback on a state plan to charge fines ranging from $25 to $250 for vandalism at state parks on Thursday evening at the Hampton Beach Seashell Complex.
The public hearing took place at 6 p.m. and four other public hearings are scheduled for locations throughout the state. More information about those hearings and the proposed changes can be found here.
The Jonas Brothers announced on Thursday they canceled their tour due to a rift within the band. The announcement means their scheduled show at the Hampton Beach Club Casino on Saturday, Oct. 19 is also canceled.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission officials announced this week they had closed the Confirmatory Action Letter that called on the firm that owns the pressurized water reactor at Seabrook Station to take steps to mitigate concrete degradation that was discovered in 2010. NRC officials indicated they are satisfied with the steps that have been taken to date.
In North Hampton, town residents can attend this morning's Large Assembly Ordinance Review Committee meeting at the town offices at 8:15 a.m.
Rebecca Rule, author, humorist, fabled story-teller, to First Congregational Church at 7 p.m. to share stories about Hampton over the course of its last 375 years. She will also invite members of the audience to share their stories and memories of "the good ole days" of living here in Hampton.
