Road Work At I-95 Hampton Tolls To Last 5 Weeks

The N.H. Department of Transportation has began paving work in the area of Exit 2 on Interstate 95 and the Hampton tolls.

HAMPTON, NH — Paving work on I-95 in the area of Exit 2 and the Hampton tolls began this week in the southbound lanes. The contractor on the job, Brox Industries, is expected to complete the project in the next five weeks, weather permitting, according to the N.H. Department of Transportation. Work in the northbound lanes is scheduled to begin in July.

As part of the paving project, crews are rehabilitating both cash and E-ZPass toll lanes and the Exit 2 ramps onto Route 101. The road work will be done during nighttime hours. Drivers should be on the lookout for lane shifts and closures, DOT officials say. Flaggers and warning signs will be on site.
