Rollover On I-95 South Near New Hampshire Border Clogs Traffic

SALISBURY, MA — Traffic on 95 southbound approaching crash in Salisbury, near the border iwth New Hampshire is now backed up for 5 and a half miles, according to MassDOT after a car rolled over.

Around noon, police radio scanner indicated a car had crossed the median from the northbound side of the highway and struck oncoming traffic on the southbound side and rolled over, trapping one person and throwing someone from a car. At least one person was reported to need to be flown to a hospital, according to the scanner.

Early reports indicated all lanes were closed southbound in that area. Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area if at all possible.
