Sand Castle Creations Attract Spectators Over Labor Day Weekend

Thousands of people visited Hampton Beach to spend time at the beach, and view the creative sand sculptures on display

HAMPTON, NH - Beautiful weather over Labor Day weekend attracted thousands of visitors to Hampton Beach.

The Hampton Beach Sand Sculpting Classic Competition attracted crowds who lined up in a viewing area set up for social distancing. Visitors to the sculptures were funneled to a one direction fenced off area, where groups who were together flowed one group at a time.

The sculptures will remain on display until September 8th, and the area is illuminated for night time viewing. Many of the sculptures and creators received awards for their work.
