SAU 90 School Board to Hampton Voters: Thank You

Letterwriters: We'll work with contractors, staff, building committee, admin to ensure community has 21st century learning opportunities.

HAMPTON, NH — The Hampton School Board is grateful for the outpouring of support for the proposals presented on the March 14th school ballot. So many of you faced difficult weather conditions to cast a vote and support our schools in SAU 90.

As an elected board we were pleased to see that over 3,300 registered voters cast a ballot representing a higher than average voter participation in a town wide election.

As a board we are ready and excited to provide oversight to the renovations and reconstruction of Hampton Academy. We intend to work with our contractors, staff, building committee and administration to ensure that the community will have a 21st century learning environment that support our students’ education now and in the future. Additionally the community will have a facility that accommodates community needs for many years to come. The gymnasium, auditorium and community room will be extraordinary venues for town-wide use for young and old alike.

Throughout the period of construction we will keep the community informed and updated on the progress of the project. We will continue our commitment to seek resources to support the construction and costs associated with the renovations.

We have so many to thank for the incredible effort undertaken in support of the successful passage of the Hampton Academy project. The Hampton Academy Project Advisory Committee, Hampton PTA and the Friends of Hampton Academy were all instrumental in the successful passage of the project. Thank you especially to the voters of Hampton.
