Services Held of Justin Quinn Sunday
Services will be held in Gloucester; he'll be laid to rest in Hampton.
Justin Thomas Quinn, 32, of Gloucester and Middleton, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, surrounded by the love of his family, at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston, following a very prolonged and courageous battle with brain tumor. He was the son of Gloucester Police Detective Thomas E. Quinn and Diane E. Quinn, and the brother of Jesse Clifford and family, Connor Quinn of Hampton.
Justin was born in Gloucester on July 31, 1982. From the time he was a child, it was Justin’s dream to become a police officer like his father, uncles, and grandfather. He lived his life in that pursuit, constantly listening to the police scanner, coming to know police officers from Gloucester to Boston, and on December 11, 2014, also known as Justin Quinn Day, was appointed an honorary member of the Boston Police District 1, realizing that dream.
In addition on March 6, 2015, was proclaimed an honorary member of the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association from his hospital bed, as presented by Patrick Rose, President of the Association.

Always living life to the fullest, Justin loved spending time with his brothers Jesse and Connor and grandparents Jack and Kathy, singing, going out to eat, dancing at the Gloucester Fraternity Club, playing softball in Special Olympics, and watching the nightly WBZ news cast. He was also thrilled to have traveled to Florida with his family where he swam with the Dolphins.
