Third Eye Blind Kicks Off ‘Screamer Tour' In Hampton Nov. 8

HAMPTON, NH — Kicking off the “Screamer Tour" in Hampton, Third Eye Blind is taking to the road in support of its new album of the same name, which will be released on Oct. 18. Get tickets now to the Nov. 8 show at Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom.

Third Eye Blind is just as popular today as when it released its self-titled debut album in 1997. The album featured smash hits such as “How’s It Going To Be” and “Semi-Charmed Life,” which reached No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot 100 list. A second album, “Blue,” released in 1999, was just as well received, selling over 150,00 copies in the first month.

Throughout the years, Third Eye Blind has toured extensively while at the same time working on new material. The band's style is often labeled as post-grunge, but with each new album it has gained acclaim as a band with a unique alternative rock sound.

The “Screamer Tour" gets underway in New Hampshire on Nov. 8, wrapping up on Nov. 30 in Nevada. According to frontman Stephan Jenkins, concertgoers can expect a different playlist every night.

“It's not the same every night," he said. "We're not a jam band, but we sound-check; sound checks are band practice, and we move things and change them. We're not a MacBook Pro band."

Even with a revolving playlist, fans can expect Third Eye Blind to showcase songs off the new album such as “The Kids Are Coming” and “Ways."
