Town Of Hampton To Allow Trick-Or-Treating On Halloween
Town officials request revelers to practice social distancing, wear masks, and respect friends and neighbors.
HAMPTON, NH — Happy haunting on Halloween — but be safe.
That is what the Hampton Recreation and Parks Department is requesting after town officials greenlighted Halloween for 2020. Trick-or-treating will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31.
If you plan on participating in Halloween, leave a porch light on indicating you are accepting treaters. Sanitize commonly touched areas — like doorbells, doorknobs, etc. Set up a state outside to distribute candy and don't use a big bowl — or sanitize the bowl, if you use one.

Trick-or-treaters should only visit homes with porch lights on. They should also not congregate and practice social distancing. And be patient — there may be a line at the doors of some homes and respect other treaters. Bring hand sanitizer and wear a mask, too.
