Londonderry Apple Orchards Open For Apple Picking

LONDONDERRY, NH -- Fall started this weekend and that means it's apple-picking season across New Hampshire. Londonderry has three apple orchards -- Elwood Orchard, Oliver Merrill & Sons and Sunnycrest Farm.

Elwood Orchard is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition to apples, pumpkins, corn, zucchini, summer squash and cucumbers are sold. The farm also includes a corn maze.

Oliver Merrill & Sons is open on the weekends only for apple picking. There are more than 25 types of apples and peaches, pears, plums, cherries and raspberries.

Sunnycrest Farm is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for apple and raspberry picking. The market sells cider, local honey, maple syrup, jams, vegetables, breads, crumb bars and more.
